I asked him whether we may perform ablution with, or drink, the milk of female donkeys, the bile of predatory beasts, or the urine of camels. He replied, "The Muslims used to treat themselves with these and saw no harm in it. As for the milk of female donkeys, it has reached us that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade their flesh, but no command or prohibition concerning their milk has reached us. As for the bile of predatory beasts," Ibn Shihab said, "Abu Idris al-Khawlani informed me that Abu Thalaba al-Khashani told him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating any fanged predatory beast."
وزاد الليث قال حدثني يونس
وسألته هل نتوضأ أو نشرب ألبان الأتن أو مرارة السبع أو أبوال الإبل قال قد كان المسلمون يتداوون بها فلا يرون بذلك بأسا فأما ألبان الأتن فقد بلغنا أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن لحومها ولم يبلغنا عن ألبانها أمر ولا نهي وأما مرارة السبع قال ابن شهاب أخبرني أبو إدريس الخولاني أن أبا ثعلبة الخشني أخبره أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن أكل كل ذي ناب من السبع
