Ayesha reported,

She used to recommend talbinah for the sick and for those grieving over the deceased, and she would say, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, 'Talbinah soothes the heart of the sick and takes away some of the sorrow.'"

أنها كانت تأمر بالتلبين للمريض وللمحزون على الهالك وكانت تقول إني سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن التلبينة تجم فؤاد المريض وتذهب ببعض الحزن
