When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited a sick person, or when a sick person was brought to him, he would say, "Take away the affliction, Lord of mankind. Grant cure, for You are the Healer. There is no cure except Your cure, a cure that leaves no illness behind."Amr bin Abu Qays and Ibrahim bin Tahman narrated it from Mansur, from Ibrahim and Abu al-Duha, with the wording, "when a sick person was brought to him."Jareer narrated it from Mansur, from Abu al-Duha alone, with the wording, "when he visited a sick person."

أن رسول الله ﷺ كان إذا أتى مريضا أو أتي به قال أذهب الباس رب الناس اشف وأنت الشافي لا شفاء إلا شفاؤك شفاء لا يغادر سقما قال عمرو بن أبي قيس وإبراهيم بن طهمان عن منصور عن إبراهيم وأبي الضحى إذا أتي بالمريض وقال جرير عن منصور عن أبي الضحى وحده وقال إذا أتى مريضا
