The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us with seven things and forbade us from seven. He forbade us from gold rings, wearing silk, brocade, and heavy silk, and from qassi garments and red saddle cloths. He commanded us to follow funeral processions, visit the sick, and spread the greeting of peace.
حدثنا حفص بن عمر حدثنا شعبة قال أخبرني أشعث بن سليم قال سمعت معاوية بن سويد بن مقرن
أمرنا رسول الله ﷺ بسبع ونهانا عن سبع نهانا عن خاتم الذهب ولبس الحرير والديباج والإستبرق وعن القسي والميثرة وأمرنا أن نتبع الجنائز ونعود المريض ونفشي السلام
