I asked Ibn Abbas about badhaq, and he replied, "Muhammad ﷺ came before badhaq existed. Whatever intoxicates is forbidden."I said, "What about wholesome, lawful drink?"He answered, "After what is lawful and wholesome, there is nothing but what is forbidden and foul."
