I asked al-Aswad, "Did you ask Ayesha, Umm Muiminin, about the vessels in which it is disliked to make nabidh?"He replied, "Yes."I said, "Umm Muiminin, what did the Prophet ﷺ forbid nabidh to be made in?"She answered, "He forbade us, the people of the household, from making nabidh in the gourd and the pitch-coated vessel."I asked, "Did you not also mention the clay jar and the green jar?"He replied, "I am only telling you what I heard. Should I tell you what I did not hear?"
