A mouse fell into some clarified butter and died. The Prophet ﷺ was asked about it, and he said, "Throw it out along with what is around it, and eat the rest."It was said to Sufyan, "Muamar narrates this from Zuhri, from Saeed bin Musayab, from Abu Hurairah."Sufyan replied, "I never heard Zuhri report it except from Ubaydullah, from Ibn Abbas, from Maymunah, from the Prophet ﷺ, and I heard it from him many times."
حدثنا الحميدي حدثنا سفيان حدثنا الزهري قال أخبرني عبيد الله بن عبد الله بن عتبة أنه سمع ابن عباس يحدثه
أن فأرة وقعت في سمن فماتت فسئل النبي ﷺ عنها فقال ألقوها وما حولها وكلوه قيل لسفيان فإن معمرا يحدثه عن الزهري عن سعيد بن المسيب عن أبي هريرة قال ما سمعت الزهري يقول إلا عن عبيد الله عن ابن عباس عن ميمونة عن النبي ﷺ ولقد سمعته منه مرارا
