Abdullah bin Umar reported,

He informed him that a Jariya of theirs was tending sheep at Sala when she noticed that one of the sheep was dying. She broke a stone and slaughtered it with it. He said to his family, "Do not eat from it until I come to the Prophet ﷺ and ask him, or until I send someone to ask him." So he came to the Prophet ﷺ, or sent someone to him, and the Prophet ﷺ ordered that it be eaten.
