I asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "We are a people who hunt with these dogs."He said, "When you release your trained dogs and mention the name of Allah, then eat from what they catch for you, even if the dogs kill the prey, unless the dog eats from it. In that case I fear it caught the prey only for itself. And if dogs other than yours mix with them, then do not eat."

سألت رسول الله ﷺ قلت إنا قوم نصيد بهذه الكلاب فقال إذا أرسلت كلابك المعلمة وذكرت اسم الله فكل مما أمسكن عليكم وإن قتلن إلا أن يأكل الكلب فإني أخاف أن يكون إنما أمسكه على نفسه وإن خالطها كلاب من غيرها فلا تأكل
