Abu Masud Uqba bin Amr reported,

There was a man among the Ansar known as Abu Shuayb who had a servant who was a butcher. He said to him, "Prepare food for me, enough for five, so I may invite the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as the fifth of five."So he invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as the fifth of five, but another man followed them. The Prophet ﷺ said, "You invited us as the fifth of five, and this man has followed us. If you wish, you may permit him to join, and if you wish, you may turn him away."Abu Shuayb replied, "Rather, I permit him."Muhammad bin Yusuf said, I heard Muhammad bin Ismail say, "When people are gathered at one table, they should not pass food from one table to another. Rather, they should pass it among themselves at that same table, or leave it."
