Sahl bin Saad reported,

We used to look forward to Fridays. There was an elderly woman among us who would take the roots of chard, place them in her pot, and add a few grains of barley. When we had finished the prayer, we would visit her and she would serve it to us. That was why we used to rejoice on Fridays. We would not eat lunch nor take our midday rest until after the Friday prayer. By Allah, there was no fat or grease in it.
