The Prophet ﷺ arose to consummate his marriage with Safiyyah, so I invited the Muslims to his wedding feast. He ordered that leather mats be brought, and they were spread out, then dates, dried curd, and clarified butter were placed upon them.Amr reported from Anas that the Prophet ﷺ consummated the marriage with her, then he prepared hays on a leather mat.
