The wife of Thabit bin Qays came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, I find no fault with Thabit bin Qays in his character or his religion, but I hate to fall into disbelief while in Islam."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked, "Will you return his garden to him?"She replied, "Yes."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Accept the garden and divorce her with a single pronouncement."Abu Abdullah said, "No one corroborates this narration from Ibn Abbas."

أن امرأة ثابت بن قيس أتت النبي ﷺ فقالت يا رسول الله ثابت بن قيس ما أعتب عليه في خلق ولا دين ولكني أكره الكفر في الإسلام فقال رسول الله ﷺ أتردين عليه حديقته قالت نعم قال رسول الله ﷺ اقبل الحديقة وطلقها تطليقة قال أبو عبد الله لا يتابع فيه عن ابن عباس
Bukhari narrated it from Azhar bin Jameel, from Thaqafi, from Khalid, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, that the wife of Thabit bin Qays, the story of her wife-initiated divorce.It is also narrated from Jarmi, from Qarad, from Jareer, from Ayub, from Ikrima, from Ibn Abbas, and Hammad bin Salama narrated it from Ayub. The companions of Thaqafi, other than Azhar, also narrate it as a mursal report, and Khalid Tahhan and Ibrahim bin Tahman narrate it as mursal, from Khalid Haddan, from Ikrima. Muslim did not narrate anything from Ikrima at all.
The Hafiz said in the introduction, page 375, after mentioning the words of Daraqutni, I say, Bukhari has related the disagreement over it and cited it as a suspended report from Ibrahim bin Tahman, from Khalid Haddan, as a mursal report, and from Ayub as a connected report, and that supports the narration of Jareer bin Hazim. In the narration of Abu Dharr from Mustamli there is an addition.Bukhari said, following the hadith of Azhar, "No one else corroborates it from Ibn Abbas." This is the meaning of Daraqutni's statement that the companions of Thaqafi relate it as mursal. I have mentioned who connected the hadith of Ibrahim bin Tahman in Taghliq Taliq. End of quote.
