During the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ, we used to refrain from speaking freely or being too open with our wives, fearing that something might be revealed concerning us. But after the Prophet ﷺ passed away, we began to speak and behave more freely with them.

كنا نتقي الكلام والانبساط إلى نسائنا على عهد النبي ﷺ هيبة أن ينزل فينا شيء فلما توفي النبي ﷺ تكلمنا وانبسطنا
