The Prophet ﷺ came in and entered on the day of my wedding. He sat on my bed just as you are sitting near me now. Some young girls of ours began beating the tambourine and lamenting those of my forefathers who had been killed on the day of Badr, when one of them said, "And among us is a Prophet who knows what will happen tomorrow."He said, "Leave this and say what you were saying before."
حدثنا مسدد حدثنا بشر بن المفضل حدثنا خالد بن ذكوان قال قالت
جاء النبي ﷺ فدخل حين بني علي فجلس على فراشي كمجلسك مني فجعلت جويريات لنا يضربن بالدف ويندبن من قتل من آبائي يوم بدر إذ قالت إحداهن وفينا نبي يعلم ما في غد فقال دعي هذه وقولي بالذي كنت تقولين
