Musaddad narrated to us, from Yahya, from Sufyan, from Amash, from Ibrahim, from Ubayda, from Abdullah. Amash said that part of the hadith was narrated to me by Amr bin Mura, from Ibrahim, and from his father, from Abu al-Duha, from Abdullah, who said,The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "Recite to me."I said, "Shall I recite to you when it was revealed to you?"He said, "I love to hear it from someone other than myself."So I recited Surah an-Nisa, and when I reached "How then will it be when We bring from each nation a witness and bring you as a witness against these people?" [Nisa 4:41], he said to me, "Stop," or "Hold back." Then I saw his eyes overflowing with tears.
حدثنا صدقة أخبرنا يحيى عن سفيان عن سليمان عن إبراهيم عن عبيدة عن عبد الله قال يحيى بعض الحديث
لي النبي ﷺ حدثنا مسدد عن يحيى عن سفيان عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن عبيدة عن عبد الله قال الأعمش وبعض الحديث حدثني عمرو بن مرة عن إبراهيم وعن أبيه عن أبي الضحى عن عبد الله قال قال رسول الله ﷺ اقرأ علي قال قلت أقرأ عليك وعليك أنزل قال إني أشتهي أن أسمعه من غيري قال فقرأت النساء حتى إذا بلغت {فكيف إذا جئنا من كل أمة بشهيد وجئنا بك على هؤلاء شهيدا} قال لي كف أو أمسك فرأيت عينيه تذرفان
