The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The example of the one who knows the Quran is like that of the owner of hobbled camels. If he tends to them, he keeps them, but if he sets them loose, they wander away."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف أخبرنا مالك عن نافع
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إنما مثل صاحب القرآن كمثل صاحب الإبل المعقلة إن عاهد عليها أمسكها وإن أطلقها ذهبت
