Abu Jahl said, "If I see Muhammad praying at the Kaabah, I will surely stamp on his neck."Word of this reached the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Had he done so, the angels would have seized him."Amr bin Khalid corroborated this, narrating from Ubaydullah, from Abdul-Kareem.

أبو جهل لئن رأيت محمدا يصلي عند الكعبة لأطأن على عنقه فبلغ النبي ﷺ فقال لو فعله لأخذته الملائكة تابعه عمرو بن خالد عن عبيد الله عن عبد الكريم
