A trade caravan arrived one Friday while we were with the Prophet ﷺ, and the people rushed off toward it, leaving only twelve men behind. So Allah revealed, "And when they see a transaction or a diversion, they rush off to it and leave you standing" [Jumuah 62:11].

أقبلت عير يوم الجمعة ونحن مع النبي ﷺ فثار الناس إلا اثني عشر رجلا فأنزل الله {وإذا رأوا تجارة أو لهوا انفضوا إليها وتركوك قائما}
