Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Prophet ﷺ, while inside his tent on the day of Badr, said, "Allah, I appeal to You by Your covenant and Your promise. Allah, if You wish, You will not be worshipped after this day ever again."Abu Bakr took him by the hand and said, "That is enough, Messenger of Allah. You have pressed your Lord earnestly."He was wearing his armor. He then went out reciting, "The hosts will all be routed and will turn and flee. Indeed, the Hour is their appointed time, and the Hour will be more grievous and more bitter" [Qamar 54:45–46].

أن النبي ﷺ قال وهو في قبة له يوم بدر أنشدك عهدك ووعدك اللهم إن شئت لم تعبد بعد اليوم أبدا فأخذ أبو بكر بيده وقال حسبك يا رسول الله فقد ألححت على ربك وهو في الدرع فخرج وهو يقول {سيهزم الجمع ويولون الدبر بل الساعة موعدهم والساعة أدهى وأمر}
