Bukhari 4769

Bukhari reported it from Ismail bin Abu Uways, from his brother, from Ibn Abu Dhib, from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah, who said, "Ibrahim will meet his father" - the hadith. He said, Ibrahim bin Tahman also reported it from Ibn Abu Dhib, from Saeed, from his father, from Abu Hurairah.

Hafiz said in Fath, "His statement, 'Ibrahim bin Tahman said'" (Nasai connected it from Ahmad bin Hafs, from Abdullah, from his father, from Ibrahim bin Tahman, and he related the hadith in full).Then Hafiz also said in Fath, "His statement, 'from Saeed, from Abu Hurairah'" (this is what Ibn Abu Uways said, and Bukhari cited this chain relying on it, while pointing to the other chain in which a man was added between Saeed and Abu Hurairah, mentioning it as a suspended narration. Saeed had heard directly from Abu Hurairah, and had also heard from his father, from Abu Hurairah. So perhaps this is something he heard from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and then heard it himself from Abu Hurairah, or he heard it from Abu Hurairah in abridged form and from his father, from him, in full, or he heard it from Abu Hurairah and then his father confirmed it for him. None of this detracts from the soundness of the hadith. A basis for the hadith has also been found from Abu Hurairah through another route, which Bazzar and Hakim reported through Hammad bin Salama, from Ayub, from Ibn Sirin, from Abu Hurairah. Both of them also have a corroborating report from the hadith of Abu Saeed.")
