Saeed bin Jubayr reported,
I asked Ibn Abbas 
about the saying of Allah the Exalted, "his recompense is Hell", and he said, "There is no Tawba for him."I also asked him about His saying, mighty is His mention, "who do not call upon another god alongside Allah", and he said, "This was concerning the days of pre-Islamic ignorance."
