Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Prophet ﷺ entered Mecca, and around the Kaaba there were three hundred and sixty idols. He began striking them with a stick in his hand, saying, "Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Indeed, falsehood is ever bound to vanish" [Isra 17:81], "Truth has come, and falsehood can neither originate anything nor restore it" [Saba 34:49].

حدثنا الحميدي حدثنا سفيان عن ابن أبي نجيح عن مجاهد عن أبي معمر

عن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال

دخل النبي ﷺ مكة وحول البيت ستون وثلاث مائة نصب فجعل يطعنها بعود في يده ويقول {جاء الحق وزهق الباطل إن الباطل كان زهوقا} {جاء الحق وما يبدئ الباطل وما يعيد}
