Abu Bakr sent me, along with other announcers, during that pilgrimage. He dispatched us on the Day of Sacrifice to proclaim at Mina that no polytheist would perform the pilgrimage after that year, and no one would circumambulate the House while naked.Humayd bin Abdul-Rahman said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Ali bin Abu Talib to follow up, and commanded him to proclaim Surat Baraah."Abu Hurairah said, "So Ali joined us in making the announcement on the Day of Sacrifice among the people of Mina, proclaiming Baraah, and that no polytheist would perform the pilgrimage after that year, and no one would circumambulate the House while naked."

بعثني أبو بكر في تلك الحجة في مؤذنين بعثهم يوم النحر يؤذنون بمنى أن لا يحج بعد العام مشرك ولا يطوف بالبيت عريان قال حميد بن عبد الرحمن ثم أردف رسول الله ﷺ بعلي بن أبي طالب وأمره أن يؤذن ببراءة قال أبو هريرة فأذن معنا علي يوم النحر في أهل منى ببراءة وأن لا يحج بعد العام مشرك ولا يطوف بالبيت عريان
