Abu Saeed bin Mualla reported,

I was praying when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by me and called me, but I did not come to him until I had finished my prayer. Then I went to him, and he said, "What kept you from coming? Did Allah not say, 'O you who believe, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you' [Anfal 8:24]?"Then he said, "Let me teach you the greatest surah in the Quran before I leave." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then went to leave, so I reminded him of it.Muaz reported that Shuba narrated to us from Khubayb bin Abdul-Rahman, who heard Hafs, who heard Abu Saeed, a man from among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ, with this account, and he said it is "Praise be to Allah, Lord of all the worlds" [Fatihah 1:2], the seven oft-repeated verses.
