I asked, "Did you yourself hear this from Abdullah?"He replied, "Yes," and he traced it back to the Prophet, who said, "No one is more jealous than Allah, and for that reason He has forbidden indecencies, both what is open of them and what is concealed. And no one loves praise more than Allah, and for that reason He has praised Himself."

قلت أنت سمعت هذا من عبد الله قال نعم ورفعه قال لا أحد أغير من الله فلذلك حرم الفواحش ما ظهر منها وما بطن ولا أحد أحب إليه المدحة من الله فلذلك مدح نفسه
