He asked Ibn Abbas, "Is there a sajdah in Surah Sad?"Ibn Abbas replied, "Yes." Then he recited, "And We gave him Ishaq and Yaqub" [Anam 6:84], up to His words, "so follow their guidance" [Anam 6:90], and then said, "He is one of them."Yazid bin Harun, Muhammad bin Ubayd, and Sahl bin Yusuf added, reporting from Awwam from Mujahid, that he said, "I asked Ibn Abbas about it, and he said, 'Your Prophet ﷺ was among those commanded to follow them.'"
حدثني إبراهيم بن موسى أخبرنا هشام أن ابن جريج أخبرهم قال أخبرني سليمان الأحول أن
أنه سأل ابن عباس أفي ص سجدة فقال نعم ثم تلا {ووهبنا له إسحاق ويعقوب} إلى قوله {فبهداهم اقتده} ثم قال هو منهم زاد يزيد بن هارون ومحمد بن عبيد وسهل بن يوسف عن العوام عن مجاهد قلت لابن عباس فقال نبيكم ﷺ ممن أمر أن يقتدي بهم
