While the Prophet ﷺ was leading the evening prayer, he said, "Allah hears whoever praises Him." Then, before prostrating, he said, "O Allah, deliver Ayyash bin Abu Rabia. O Allah, deliver Salama bin Hisham. O Allah, deliver Walid bin Walid. O Allah, deliver the oppressed among the believers. O Allah, tighten Your grip upon Mudar. O Allah, make it years of famine for them like the years of Yusuf."
حدثنا أبو نعيم حدثنا شيبان عن يحيى عن أبي سلمة
بينا النبي ﷺ يصلي العشاء إذ قال سمع الله لمن حمده ثم قال قبل أن يسجد اللهم نج عياش بن أبي ربيعة اللهم نج سلمة بن هشام اللهم نج الوليد بن الوليد اللهم نج المستضعفين من المؤمنين اللهم اشدد وطأتك على مضر اللهم اجعلها سنين كسني يوسف
