Regarding the words of Allah Most High, "Whoever is wealthy should refrain, and whoever is poor may consume what is reasonable" [Nisa 4:6], this was revealed concerning the guardian of an orphan. If he is poor, he may take from the orphan's wealth a reasonable amount in return for his work in managing it.
