Ayesha reported,

A man had an orphan girl in his care, and he married her. She owned a date palm, and he kept her in the marriage only for the sake of that palm, having no real attachment to her himself. So this verse was revealed concerning him, "And if you fear that you will not deal justly with the orphans" [Nisa 4:3].I think he said, she was his partner in that date palm and in his wealth.
