Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

I spent the night at the home of my aunt Maymunah and said to myself, "Let me observe the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."A pillow was laid out for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he slept along its length. Then he began wiping the sleep from his face and recited the last ten verses of Al Imran until he completed them. Then he went to a hanging waterskin, took it, performed ablution, and stood to pray.I got up and did just as he had done, then came and stood beside him. He placed his hand on my head, took hold of my ear, and began to twist it gently. Then he prayed two rakahs, then two rakahs, then two rakahs, then two rakahs, then two rakahs, then two rakahs, and then he prayed witr.
