He informed her that the Prophet ﷺ commanded his wives to exit the state of ihram during the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage.Hafsah asked, "What prevents you from doing the same?"He replied, "I have matted my hair and garlanded my sacrificial animal, so I will not exit ihram until I have slaughtered my sacrifice."
