On the day of Hunayn, the Prophet ﷺ gave preference to certain people in distribution. He gave Aqra a hundred camels, gave Uyayna the same, and gave to others as well.A man remarked, "This division was not done seeking the face of Allah."I said, "I will surely inform the Prophet ﷺ of this."When I told him, he said, "May Allah have mercy on Musa. He was harmed with more than this, yet he remained patient."
حدثنا قتيبة بن سعيد حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن أبي وائل
لما كان يوم حنين آثر النبي ﷺ ناسا أعطى الأقرع مائة من الإبل وأعطى عيينة مثل ذلك وأعطى ناسا فقال رجل ما أريد بهذه القسمة وجه الله فقلت لأخبرن النبي ﷺ قال رحم الله موسى قد أوذي بأكثر من هذا فصبر
