Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

We stayed with the Prophet ﷺ on a journey for nineteen days, shortening the prayer. Ibn Abbas said, "We shorten the prayer as long as our stay does not exceed nineteen days, but if we stay longer, we complete it in full."

عن ابن عباس قال

أقمنا مع النبي ﷺ في سفر تسع عشرة نقصر الصلاة وقال ابن عباس ونحن نقصر ما بيننا وبين تسع عشرة فإذا زدنا أتممنا
