Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Prophet ﷺ set out to Dhat ar-Riqa from Nakhl and encountered a group from Ghatafan. No fighting took place, but the two sides made each other apprehensive, so the Prophet ﷺ performed the two-rakah prayer of fear.Yazid reported from Salama, "I fought alongside the Prophet ﷺ on the day of al-Qarad."

خرج النبي ﷺ إلى ذات الرقاع من نخل فلقي جمعا من غطفان فلم يكن قتال وأخاف الناس بعضهم بعضا فصلى النبي ﷺ ركعتي الخوف وقال يزيد عن سلمة غزوت مع النبي ﷺ يوم القرد
