Bara bin Azib reported,

On the day of Uhud, the Prophet ﷺ placed Abdullah bin Jubayr in command of the foot soldiers. They came back defeated, and that is when the Messenger was calling them from their rear.

البراء بن عازب رضي الله عنهما قال

جعل النبي ﷺ على الرجالة يوم أحد عبد الله بن جبير وأقبلوا منهزمين فذاك إذ يدعوهم الرسول في أخراهم
