These are the military expeditions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He then mentioned the hadith, saying that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while casting them into the well, said, "Have you found what your Lord promised you to be true?"Musa reported from Nafi, from Abdullah, that some of his companions said, "Messenger of Allah, are you calling out to dead people?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "You do not hear what I am saying any better than they do."Abu Abdullah said, The total number of those from Quraysh who were present at Badr and for whom a share of the spoils was allotted was eighty-one men.Urwa bin Zubayr used to say that Zubayr said, "I divided their shares, and they numbered one hundred." حدثنا إبراهيم بن المنذر حدثنا محمد بن فليح بن سليمان عن موسى بن عقبة
هذه مغازي رسول الله ﷺ فذكر الحديث فقال رسول الله ﷺ وهو يلقيهم هل وجدتم ما وعدكم ربكم حقا قال موسى قال نافع قال عبد الله قال ناس من أصحابه يا رسول الله تنادي ناسا أمواتا قال رسول الله ﷺ ما أنتم بأسمع لما قلت منهم قال أبو عبد الله فجميع من شهد بدرا من قريش ممن ضرب له بسهمه أحد وثمانون رجلا وكان عروة بن الزبير يقول قال الزبير قسمت سهمانهم فكانوا مائة والله أعلم
