I was standing in the battle line on the day of Badr when I looked around and found, to my right and to my left, two young boys of tender age. I felt uneasy at having them beside me.Then one of them whispered to me, hiding it from his companion, "Uncle, show me Abu Jahl."I said, "Nephew, what do you want with him?"He replied, "I have made a covenant with Allah that if I see him, I will kill him or die trying."Then the other one said the same to me secretly, hiding it from his companion. Nothing pleased me more than to be standing between two such men. I pointed Abu Jahl out to them, and they swooped down on him like two falcons until they struck him down. They were the two sons of Afra.
