I came in to see Uthman, and he made the testimony of faith and then said, "To proceed: Allah sent Muhammad ﷺ with the truth, and I was among those who responded to Allah and His Messenger and believed in what Muhammad ﷺ was sent with. Then I made the two migrations, and I attained the honor of marrying into the family of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I pledged allegiance to him. By Allah, I never disobeyed him nor deceived him until Allah took him."Ishaq Kalbi corroborated this, saying that Zuhri related to him something similar.
