Regarding the saying of Allah Most High, "And We did not make the vision which We showed you except as a trial for people" [Isra 17:60], he said, "It was a vision seen with the eyes, shown to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the night he was taken on the night journey to Bayt al-Maqdis."Concerning His statement, "And the cursed tree in the Quran" [Isra 17:60], he said, "It is the tree of Zaqqum."
