Abdul-Rahman bin Qasim reported,

He narrated that Qasim used to walk in front of the funeral procession and would not stand for it, and he reported on the authority of Ayesha that she said, "The people of the pre-Islamic era used to stand for it, saying when they saw it, 'You were among your people twice over what you are now.'"
