A silk garment was gifted to the Prophet ﷺ, so he put it on and prayed in it. When he finished, he pulled it off forcefully, as though he disliked it, and said, "This is not fitting for the God-conscious."
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف قال حدثنا الليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أبي الخير
أهدي إلى النبي ﷺ فروج حرير فلبسه فصلى فيه ثم انصرف فنزعه نزعا شديدا كالكاره له وقال لا ينبغي هذا للمتقين
