Fatimah, peace be upon her, sent word to Abu Bakr asking him for her inheritance from the Prophet ﷺ out of what Allah had bestowed upon His Messenger ﷺ. She was seeking the charitable endowment of the Prophet ﷺ in Medina, the lands of Fadak, and what remained of the one-fifth share from Khaybar.
حدثنا أبو اليمان أخبرنا شعيب عن الزهري قال حدثني عروة بن الزبير
أن فاطمة عليها السلام أرسلت إلى أبي بكر تسأله ميراثها من النبي ﷺ فيما أفاء الله على رسوله ﷺ تطلب صدقة النبي ﷺ التي بالمدينة وفدك وما بقي من خمس خيبر
