Abu Bakr sent me along with other announcers during that pilgrimage on the Day of Sacrifice to proclaim at Mina that no polytheist would be allowed to perform pilgrimage after that year, and that no one would circumambulate the House while naked.Humayd bin Abdul-Rahman said, "Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent Ali to follow up, commanding him to announce the chapter of Baraah."Abu Hurairah said, "So Ali joined us in announcing to the people of Mina on the Day of Sacrifice that no polytheist would perform pilgrimage after that year, and that no one would circumambulate the House while naked."

بعثني أبو بكر في تلك الحجة في مؤذنين يوم النحر نؤذن بمنى أن لا يحج بعد العام مشرك ولا يطوف بالبيت عريان قال حميد بن عبد الرحمن ثم أردف رسول الله ﷺ عليا فأمره أن يؤذن ببراءة قال أبو هريرة فأذن معنا علي في أهل منى يوم النحر لا يحج بعد العام مشرك ولا يطوف بالبيت عريان
