I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when the time for the afternoon prayer arrived. He looked for water for ablution, but the people could not find any. Then a vessel of water was brought to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he placed his hand in that vessel and instructed the people to perform ablution from it. I saw water gushing forth from beneath his fingers, and the people performed ablution until every last one of them had done so.
حدثنا عبد الله بن مسلمة عن مالك عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ وحانت صلاة العصر فالتمس الوضوء فلم يجدوه فأتي رسول الله ﷺ بوضوء فوضع رسول الله ﷺ يده في ذلك الإناء فأمر الناس أن يتوضئوا منه فرأيت الماء ينبع من تحت أصابعه فتوضأ الناس حتى توضئوا من عند آخرهم
