I saw Saaib bin Yazid at the age of ninety-four, still strong and upright. He said, "I know that I have only retained my hearing and sight through the supplication of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. My maternal aunt took me to him and said, 'Messenger of Allah, my nephew is ill, so please supplicate to Allah for him.' So he supplicated for me."
