Anas bin Malik reported,

Abu Dharr used to narrate that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The roof of my house was opened while I was in Mecca, and Jibreel ﷺ descended. He split open my chest, washed it with Zamzam water, then brought a golden basin filled with wisdom and faith. He emptied it into my chest, then closed it up. Then he took me by the hand and ascended with me to the lowest heaven.""When I reached the lowest heaven, Jibreel said to its gatekeeper, 'Open up.'The gatekeeper asked, 'Who is this?'He replied, 'This is Jibreel.'The gatekeeper asked, 'Is anyone with you?'He answered, 'Yes, Muhammad ﷺ is with me.'The gatekeeper said, 'Has he been sent for?'Jibreel replied, 'Yes.'When he opened the gate, we ascended into the lowest heaven, and there I saw a man seated, with shadowy figures on his right and shadowy figures on his left. When he looked to his right, he laughed, and when he looked to his left, he wept. He said, 'Welcome to the righteous Prophet and the righteous son.'I asked Jibreel, 'Who is this?'He answered, 'This is Adam, and these shadowy figures on his right and left are the souls of his descendants. Those on the right are the people of Paradise, and those on the left are the people of the Fire. So when he looks to his right, he laughs, and when he looks to his left, he weeps.'Then he ascended with me to the second heaven, and he said to its gatekeeper, 'Open up.' Its gatekeeper said the same thing as the first, then he opened the gate."Anas said, "He mentioned that in the heavens he found Adam, Idrees, Musa, Isa, and Ibrahim, may Allah's blessings be upon them, but he did not specify their stations exactly, except that he mentioned finding Adam in the lowest heaven and Ibrahim in the sixth heaven."Anas continued, "When Jibreel passed by Idrees with the Prophet ﷺ, Idrees said, 'Welcome to the righteous Prophet and the righteous brother.'The Prophet said, 'I asked, "Who is this?"Jibreel replied, "This is Idrees."Then I passed by Musa, and he said, "Welcome to the righteous Prophet and the righteous brother."I asked, "Who is this?"Jibreel replied, "This is Musa."Then I passed by Isa, and he said, "Welcome to the righteous brother and the righteous Prophet."I asked, "Who is this?"Jibreel replied, "This is Isa."Then I passed by Ibrahim, and he said, "Welcome to the righteous Prophet and the righteous son."I asked, "Who is this?"Jibreel replied, "This is Ibrahim ﷺ."'"Ibn Shihab said, "Ibn Hazm informed me that Ibn Abbas and Abu Habbah al-Ansari used to say that the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Then he ascended with me until I reached a level where I could hear the scratching of the pens.'"Ibn Hazm and Anas bin Malik said that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah then prescribed fifty prayers upon my nation. I returned with that, and when I passed by Musa, he asked, 'What has Allah prescribed for your nation?'I replied, 'He has prescribed fifty prayers.'He said, 'Go back to your Lord, for your nation cannot bear that.'So I went back, and He reduced it by half. I returned to Musa and said, 'He reduced it by half.'Musa said, 'Go back to your Lord, for your nation cannot bear that.'So I went back, and He reduced it by half again. I returned to Musa, and he said, 'Go back to your Lord, for your nation cannot bear that.'So I went back, and He said, 'They are five, and they are fifty. The decree with Me is not changed.'I returned to Musa, and he said, 'Go back to your Lord.'I replied, 'I feel shy before my Lord.'Then he took me onward until he brought me to the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary, which was enveloped in colors I cannot describe. Then I was admitted into Paradise, where I saw strings of pearls, and its soil was musk."

حدثنا يحيى بن بكير قال حدثنا الليث عن يونس عن ابن شهاب

عن أنس بن مالك قال

كان أبو ذر يحدث أن رسول الله ﷺ قال فرج عن سقف بيتي وأنا بمكة فنزل جبريل ﷺ ففرج صدري ثم غسله بماء زمزم ثم جاء بطست من ذهب ممتلئ حكمة وإيمانا فأفرغه في صدري ثم أطبقه ثم أخذ بيدي فعرج بي إلى السماء الدنيا فلما جئت إلى السماء الدنيا قال جبريل لخازن السماء افتح قال من هذا قال هذا جبريل قال هل معك أحد قال نعم معي محمد ﷺ فقال أرسل إليه قال نعم فلما فتح علونا السماء الدنيا فإذا رجل قاعد على يمينه أسودة وعلى يساره أسودة إذا نظر قبل يمينه ضحك وإذا نظر قبل يساره بكى فقال مرحبا بالنبي الصالح والابن الصالح قلت لجبريل من هذا قال هذا آدم وهذه الأسودة عن يمينه وشماله نسم بنيه فأهل اليمين منهم أهل الجنة والأسودة التي عن شماله أهل النار فإذا نظر عن يمينه ضحك وإذا نظر قبل شماله بكى حتى عرج بي إلى السماء الثانية فقال لخازنها افتح فقال له خازنها مثل ما قال الأول ففتح قال أنس فذكر أنه وجد في السموات آدم وإدريس وموسى وعيسى وإبراهيم صلوات الله عليهم ولم يثبت كيف منازلهم غير أنه ذكر أنه وجد آدم في السماء الدنيا وإبراهيم في السماء السادسة قال أنس فلما مر جبريل بالنبي ﷺ بإدريس قال مرحبا بالنبي الصالح والأخ الصالح فقلت من هذا قال هذا إدريس ثم مررت بموسى فقال مرحبا بالنبي الصالح والأخ الصالح قلت من هذا قال هذا موسى ثم مررت بعيسى فقال مرحبا بالأخ الصالح والنبي الصالح قلت من هذا قال هذا عيسى ثم مررت بإبراهيم فقال مرحبا بالنبي الصالح والابن الصالح قلت من هذا قال هذا إبراهيم ﷺ قال ابن شهاب فأخبرني ابن حزم أن ابن عباس وأبا حبة الأنصاري كانا يقولان قال النبي ﷺ ثم عرج بي حتى ظهرت لمستوى أسمع فيه صريف الأقلام قال ابن حزم وأنس بن مالك قال النبي ﷺ ففرض الله عز وجل على أمتي خمسين صلاة فرجعت بذلك حتى مررت على موسى فقال ما فرض الله لك على أمتك قلت فرض خمسين صلاة قال فارجع إلى ربك فإن أمتك لا تطيق ذلك فراجعت فوضع شطرها فرجعت إلى موسى قلت وضع شطرها فقال راجع ربك فإن أمتك لا تطيق فراجعت فوضع شطرها فرجعت إليه فقال ارجع إلى ربك فإن أمتك لا تطيق ذلك فراجعته فقال هي خمس وهي خمسون لا يبدل القول لدي فرجعت إلى موسى فقال راجع ربك فقلت استحييت من ربي ثم انطلق بي حتى انتهى بي إلى سدرة المنتهى وغشيها ألوان لا أدري ما هي ثم أدخلت الجنة فإذا فيها حبايل اللؤلؤ وإذا ترابها المسك
