He narrated to him that the Prophet ﷺ said, "While a man was dragging his lower garment out of arrogance, the earth swallowed him up, and he will keep sinking into it until the Day of Resurrection."Abdul-Rahman bin Khalid corroborated this from Zuhri.

حدثه أن النبي ﷺ قال بينما رجل يجر إزاره من الخيلاء خسف به فهو يتجلجل في الأرض إلى يوم القيامة تابعه عبد الرحمن بن خالد عن الزهري
