Uqba said to Hudhayfa, "Will you not narrate to us what you heard from the Prophet ﷺ?"He replied, "I heard him say, 'A man, when death approached him and he despaired of life, instructed his family, "When I die, gather a great quantity of firewood for me and kindle a fire. When the fire has consumed my flesh and reached my bones, take them, grind them up, and scatter me in the sea on a hot day," or "a windy day." So Allah gathered him together and asked him, "Why did you do this?" He said, "Out of fear of You." So Allah forgave him.'"Uqba said, "And I too heard him say this."Musa narrated to us, Abu Awana narrated to us, Abdul-Malik narrated to us, and he said, "on a windy day."
