The Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the morning prayer, then turned to the people and said, "While a man was driving a cow, he mounted it and struck it. The cow said, 'We were not created for this. We were created only for plowing.'"The people exclaimed, "Glory be to Allah! A cow speaks?"The Prophet ﷺ said, "I believe in this, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar," though neither of them was present."And while a man was tending his sheep, a wolf attacked and carried off one of them. The man pursued it until he had practically rescued the sheep. The wolf said to him, 'You have rescued it from me today, but who will protect it on the day of the predator, the day when it will have no shepherd but me?'"The people exclaimed, "Glory be to Allah! A wolf speaks?"The Prophet ﷺ said, "I believe in this, and so do Abu Bakr and Umar," though neither of them was present.Ali narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, from Masaar, from Saad bin Ibrahim, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, from the Prophet ﷺ, the like of it.
